DSCC WINTON 6 HOUR RELAY RACE 2008 PDF Print E-mail
Written by Administrator

DSCC entered 3 teams in the two day event at Winton.

This is the first time that DSCC have entered 3 full teams in this event.

All members of the teams are to congratulated on the smooth running of the 3 teams, it was a credit to the club members for their support.

The event consists of Teams running one car at a time with a sash changing in set sequence in the pits .The teams nominate a time that the car / driver will run too.For every lap that the car laps hits its nominated time  then the driver  is credited with an extra lap. If the driver goes faster than his nominated time then that driver is penalised one lap as well as the lap he is on is not counted.(penalised 2 laps)

The team is allocated a total of laps for the race and each driver tries to keep as close as possible to there nominated lap time and collect as many bonus laps with no penalty laps  and be as close to there time because there is a second penalty for running slower than time nominated.

This is the same for all teams.

Its very hard to control your lap times with 40 other cars on racetrack at on time and every one is on different race lap times.

Out of 13 DSCC drivers this years top driver with the most bonus laps was Terry Maher with 10 Bonus Laps credited to his team.

DSCC Team Fab Four.     24th out of 41 teams

Welcome to the DSCC Website PDF Print E-mail
Written by Administrator

The Deniliquin Sporting Car Club would like to welcome you to our website. The website is constantly undergoing what we hope are upgrades. Please feel free to register at no cost to the website. Once you are registered you will be able to access more features.

I have recently added the following features:

Free Classifieds that require no Official registration to use (which always helps to get more people looking through them).

Picture Gallery, that shortly once you are a member of the website, you will be able to upload your own images into different folders.

A technical Section with the beginings of some solid articles, remember once you are a member you can submit your own articles, also if anyone has any to submit please send them to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Results will be updated as soon as i get some more time, should have results back about 5 years.

I am in the process of setting up Webmail, that will be avaliable to anyone (particuarly officials who don't have an e-mail address) who are wanting an "@deniliquinsportingcarclub.com" e-mail address. So again contact me via e-mail if you are interested.

I have articles dating back to the late 90's which will eventually get added into the Articles section of the site, hoping to create a comprahensive collection of club media.

I have allocated a section of the site for anything AROCA related, so watch throughout the year as the Next 6HR gets closer, and all the updated information will be posted as soon as it is known.

Also i have set-up a new events planner as our Calendar, and as soon as i get some spare time will be updating that also.

Ohh by the way, i have pretty well given up the Secretary Job, I can no longer maintain it, what with bub & trying to get the website fully funtional, so i will be looking for someone to take over the position, and i hope to work with them as much as possible, and get the Minutes from meetings etc posted on here.

On that note If you look in the latest News section, you will find all of the current e-mailed correspondance in article form.

Cheers
